Netpinions is a fully-automated service that, each day, searches and monitors the Internet. Using specific search criteria established by the client and its customized search engine, Netpinions finds and "clips" customer opinion in more than 20,000 message boards, discussion groups and forums. It also monitors daily discussion in 63,000+ Usenet news groups. As an added value, Netpinions can also monitor 5,900 Web publications and 8+ million other Web sites with over 80 million pages of information. Netpinions then filters and sorts the references and delivers to the client (via e-mail and a private, password-protected Web site) a daily list of newly identified clips with hotlinks to the full text of the discussion or news article. Netpinions includes a database-driven clip management system that enables clients to organize, annotate, search and share clips. |
