X/DC, built utilizing the .NET framework, is an NT/ Windows 2000 based ADC development environment. It is an XML based, table driven, message routing system. Messages or transactional data can be received from numerous types of inputs, including other business applications, and then be routed to one or multiple destination applications on similar or disparate platforms and databases.

X/DC is made up of three main components:

• Portable Client Design Tool
• X/DC Communications
• X/DC Server, with its built-in Integration Shell
