Autonomous-Dial-A-Ride-Transit (ADART) is a computerized, fully automated demand-responsive paratransit system. It operates without any centralized command and control. Its software automates trip booking, dispatching, routing and scheduling. This paper concerns trip booking. It details ADART??s automated Order Entry System (OES). In contrast with conventional paratransit operations, in which customers call into a team of Call Takers that book trips; ADART automates this process by utilizing web-based and phone-based order entry. This greatly reduces the number of Call Takers, increases throughput, and most important gives the customer more options. This paper walks the reader through the ADART web based Order Entry System, detailing its functionality and user interface.
