The ExactTarget Enterprise Solution provides a straightforward process to provide control over the brand and content of every email as it is passed from a centralized marketing department to a field based sales channel or to business units throughout your enterprise. The Enterprise Solution offers two models that can be used independently or in tandem.

On Your Behalf Model - To capitalize on the local relationships your sales channels have with their customers, you can send emails "on their behalf". You create the content, personalize elements to reflect the local sales person, and then send the emails on the behalf of the local sales person; the from name and email address are those of the local sales person.

Lock & Publish Model - For those enterprises with multiple business units, many of which have dedicated marketing teams, the Enterprise Solutions gives central marketing the ability to create "corporate approved" emails which can in turn be published to the business units. Business units can then customize and personalize elements which you allow.
