ABSTRACT:
For quite some time, client/server software applications held the predominant place in the practice management/EMR market. But now, Web-native systems are rapidly out pacing server-based systems. The web-based systems can provide increased data security, access to data anywhere, anytime, and superior office efficiency-benefits not matched by software-based systems. Plus, it's all done using a design that is intuitive and much simpler to use.
The computerization of the medical industry has so significantly altered the way that the day-to-day operations of a medical office are accomplished, that in order to remain profitable it has become essential for offices to update their technology. And online practice management solutions are exponentially more efficient than those of client/server applications.
