ABSTRACT:
Constant product innovation has contributed to a thriving equipment-manufacturing industry in the 21st century. The enabler for innovation has been a steady stream of new tools and technologies that help software developers work faster and smarter.
However, new products and features cannot be introduced to market before testing, and quality assurance (QA) groups have not received as many timesaving tools and technologies as developer groups. Thus, testing is rapidly becoming a barrier to innovation, threatening the pace of product advances.
This white paper is the first in a two-part series examining the innovation barrier: its causes, effects, and remedies. Part one identifies the problem and focuses on the technology needed to solve it. Read this white paper to learn more.
