Environmental concerns are not a new focus for Alcatel-Lucent. Our heritage in ecological innovation can be traced back to the invention of photovoltaic technology developed by Bell Labs more than 50 years ago. This allowed the industry to convert light into electricity and enhanced energy management for communications networks.
